Pure Aqua’s Commercial Nanofiltration Systems NF-300 Series is a membrane filtration device used most often with low total dissolved solids water such as surface water and fresh groundwater, with the purpose of softening (polyvalent cation removal) and removal of disinfection by-product precursors such as natural organic matter and synthetic organic matter.

Commercial nanofiltration systems are among the best water treatment solutions in the market. Its unique features (listed below) help to provide valuable advantages in various applications, including producing great quality water from untreated water. In addition, these systems have been designed to be highly efficient in water softening applications without the need for added salts or chemicals.

Nanofiltration systems have emerged as the most preferred choice in commercial applications due to its usage of cutting-edge membrane technology. These newer features incorporated in NF systems have made it far more capable than RO systems in eliminating color from water, in addition to tannins, and turbidity.

The popularity of NF systems can also be attributable to its low operating pressures during operation, which helps to save power & energy costs. In comparison toreverse osmosis systems, it does not require as much pretreatment since NF systems contain less sensitive membranes, and are more equipped in rejecting bivalent ions such as calcium, magnesium, uranium and radium.
